In Oregon, a state which has a history of lacking diversity, we wanted to spark a conversation about how we can improve this problem in the creative industry. Through research and interviews with professionals in the advertising industry, we walked away with a better understanding of how internal biases hinder diversity. We also came to the conclusion that the advertising industry has the power to lead the charge in understanding and fighting against these biases to create a more diverse workforce.

This deck provides insight into why Oregon's workforce functions as it does, as well as a detailed plan as to how the advertising industry can use workshops and mentorship programs to increase diversity and awareness of internal biases.

I was tasked with designing all aspects of the deck, as well as researching certain relevant contextual elements.
